This time the arrangements for Kanwad Yatra in Delhi will be done sector wise and drones will be used for security purposes. The police have instructed the camp organisers to deploy their volunteers and install CCTV cameras so that any anti-social elements can be monitored.
To ensure the safety of Kanwadiyas, policemen will be deployed in three shifts.
Sawan month will arrive from 22nd July, with which the Kanwar Yatra will begin. In view of this festival, Delhi Police has made extensive preparations. Police will be deployed everywhere for security, and the Kanwar Yatra will be monitored through CCTV cameras and drones.
For the convenience of passengers, many camps will be set up in Shahdara and North East Delhi. Special attention will be given to sensitive areas, where security checks will be done through metal detectors. The Police Commissioner has ordered checking of suspicious persons and objects, so that any untoward incident can be prevented.
