Lucknow. A DCM and a dumper collided head-on on Saturday on Kisan Path in Sushant Golf City police station area in the capital Lucknow. The driver of the DCM got stuck in the accident and the driver of the other vehicle fled from the spot.
Police station in-charge Anjani Mishra said that on Saturday morning, a sand laden dumper coming from Faizabad road near Dhakwa collided head on with a DCM. The driver of the DCM, Harpal (42) a resident of Rampur got stuck between the steering. The villagers saw the incident and informed the police. The police reached the spot and after an hour of effort, took Harpal out and sent him to Lohia Hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, the driver of the dumper fled from the spot leaving the vehicle behind.
The police station in-charge said that after taking the dumper into custody, the police has started searching for the accused driver.
