Nowadays, fake fertilizers are being sold to farmers in the name of special fertilizers. A related case is from Phalodi district, where a fake fertilizer manufacturing factory has been busted. The fake fertilizers from this factory are being sent to other districts as well. This incident is from Phalodi city where a company is manufacturing fake fertilizers near Eka square.
Police confiscated a large amount of goods
During the investigation, the police seized 1760 sacks, 2.50 tonnes of micro nutrients, 1.3 tonnes of NPK, 80 litres of liquid fertilizer, 830 litres of phenol core pesticide and 270 kg of sulphur brought in a truck on Thursday. It is being told that this factory is being operated from Gurgaon district of Haryana. The police have arrested three persons, one of whom is from Gurgaon.
How was the busted
On the information of the informer, the team of Police Station Phalodi caught this factory. They informed the Agriculture Department. When the departmental teams reached there and examined the samples, a case of making fake zinc from salt came to light.
