Now BJP's allies have started protesting against the UP government's decision to display the names of shops and shopkeepers on the Kanwar route. JDU, LJP and RLD have all protested. On the other hand, Union Minister and BJP ally Chirag Paswan said that he does not support the decision of Muzaffarnagar Police to reveal the names of shops and shopkeepers. On the orders of CM Yogi, Congress leader Imran Masood said that we have been serving in the Kanwar Yatra camps for a long time. Muslim artisans make the clothes and hosiery of the Kanwar pilgrims, Muslims decorate the Kanwar in Meerut. The hateful things you say are of no use. It will not affect the Kanwariyas. We love each other, we are not the people who will deviate from your agenda.

Regarding the order of the Yogi government, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi said that this order is an attempt to target Muslim shopkeepers, so that no Hindu devotee has to buy anything from a Muslim shop even by mistake. He compared this decision to the boycott of Jewish businesses in Hitler's Germany.

What did the CMO say in his order?
The Chief Minister's Office said in its order on Friday that 'nameplates' will have to be installed on food shops on Kanwar routes across Uttar Pradesh and the name and identity of the owner will have to be written on the shops. According to the CMO, this decision has been taken to maintain the purity of the faith of Kanwar pilgrims and action will also be taken against those selling products without Halal certification.
