Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched the Plantation Public Campaign-2024 by planting a sapling in Saumitra Van located on the banks of the Kukrail river on Ayodhya Road in Lucknow. This time under this campaign, a call has been made to plant “one tree in the name of mother”. This campaign will run from July 1 to September 30.
An official said that after the Chief Minister's campaign, foolproof arrangements will be made to ensure that the saplings remain safe and geo-tagging of the planting sites will also be done. CM Yogi said that the people of the state will come forward to face the environmental challenge by becoming a part of this sacred campaign of tree plantation amid the ongoing Van Mahotsav.
Yogi said that this campaign is being organised in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's campaign 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam'. The Chief Minister said that all the people of the state should become a part of this campaign and plant a tree in the name of their mother.
Keshav will plant saplings in Prayagraj-Kaushambi today
Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya will plant a sapling in Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad Park in Prayagraj under the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign. From there, he will go to Kaushambi and plant a sapling there too. He will interact with public representatives in Manjhanpur.
