Prayagraj. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath (CM Yogi) held a review meeting at the Circuit House regarding the preparations for organizing Maha Kumbh 2025 in a clean, safe, green, divine and grand manner and gave necessary guidelines. He has instructed the officers of all departments to complete their works compulsorily with quality within the stipulated time frame. The works of all departments were reviewed pointwise in the meeting. Kumbh Mela Adhikari Vijay Kiran Anand gave detailed information to the Chief Minister about the works being done by the departments in view of Maha Kumbh.
The Chief Minister (CM Yogi) asked to send a proposal for building a great women protection home like Krishna Kutir built in Mathura on land free from mafia near the airport. In which old and destitute women as well as girls who leave their homes due to family harassment and other reasons can stay there and also get an opportunity for self-employment. He said that houses for the poor were built by the PDA on land free from mafias, similarly he asked to take necessary action to build more houses for the poor on land free from mafias.
While reviewing the works of the Municipal Corporation, the Chief Minister (CM Yogi) said that in place of the hoardings put up for publicity inside the city, display boards should be installed by the Municipal Corporation or on PPP mode. He said that taking lessons from the incidents in Mumbai and Lucknow, action should be taken to remove the big hoardings installed on the houses. Signages were installed in the fair area and inside the city in Kumbh 2019, this time they were asked to be installed in regional languages along with Hindi, English, Sanskrit. He said that in the area of the fair area where there is a high probability of people from other places including Nepali, Tamil coming, signages should be installed in their regional languages along with other languages.
Yogi (CM Yogi) said that when Kumbh is clean, then the same clean Kumbh will turn into a safe Kumbh and we will again get to see a new model of cleanliness, security and good governance and only then will it get global recognition as a grand, divine Kumbh. For this, we should have continuous dialogue with stakeholders, public representatives, local businessmen and entrepreneurs, different organizations, Akhada Parishad, saints and people associated with ashrams. Our program should move forward with all the departments associated with the central and state government. He said that Dwadash Madhav and Bhardwaj Ashram are the identity of Prayagraj. Therefore, this time we will have to pay more special attention here, so that we can bring back their ancient identity and glory.
The Chief Minister (CM Yogi) said that along with providing training and life jackets to the sailors, action should be taken to fix a rate by holding a meeting with them. He has asked for training of manpower such as sanitation workers, water suppliers, people associated with the electricity department and to give them name plates, uniforms and unique identification codes, so that it can be identified which person is doing what kind of work. This Kumbh has to be established as a grand, divine and green Kumbh, for this, action should be taken to completely ban the use of single-use plastic from now onwards.
While reviewing the works of the Railway Department, he asked for increasing the number of trains in view of the Maha Kumbh and for making arrangements for ramps for the convenience of elderly people visiting the fair. He said that special attention should be paid to the fact that the train which is informed to be arriving at a particular platform, should arrive on that platform only; the platform should not be changed at the last moment. While reviewing the Police Department, he said that we have to provide the best security environment, for which AI tools and software should be used in a better manner for traffic management and crowd control. He has directed that each person coming to the fair should be counted using AI technology in the Maha Kumbh Mela.
While reviewing the Electricity Department, he asked for proper counselling and training of the linemen, meter readers, JE, AE and other related officials of the Electricity Department. So that the power supply is not disrupted in any way in the fair. While reviewing the Water Corporation, he directed to complete all the works on time with quality. While reviewing the Transport Department, he directed to arrange shuttle buses. While reviewing the Setu Nigam, PWD, Irrigation Department, Health Department, Ganga Pollution Control Unit and other departments, the Chief Minister (CM Yogi) asked all the departments to complete all the works with quality within the stipulated time frame. Finally, he said that we will once again contribute to getting global recognition for Prayagraj by successfully organizing a grand, divine Maha Kumbh.
On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, MP Praveen Patel, MLA Harshvardhan Bajpai, Piyush Ranjan Nishad, Guru Prasad Maurya, Siddharth Nath Singh also gave their suggestions. On which the Chief Minister asked to take necessary action on the suggestions of the public representatives. The Chief Minister first garlanded the statue of Chandrashekhar Azad in the Circuit House and bowed down. After that, he also planted a sapling in the Circuit House. Thereafter, the Chief Minister reached Sangam area and also visited and worshipped Bade Hanumanji.
