- The Union Finance Minister has proposed to reduce the prices of products used in making solar panels. This will reduce the cost of solar panels.
- The rate of TDS on e-commerce has been reduced from 1 percent to 0.1 percent.
- Basic custom duty on ferronickel, blister copper has been waived.
- The duty on shrimp and fish meal has also been reduced by 5 percent.
- Prices of leather and leather products are falling.
- Ammonium nitrate duty has also been reduced from 10 percent to 7.5 percent.
- Exemption in custom duty on minerals or minerals used in nuclear energy, renewable energy, space, defence, telecommunication and high-tech electronics.

- 25 percent duty hike on non-biodegradable plastics.
