CBI made two arrests on Friday (19 July) in the NEET paper leak case. The Central Bureau of Investigation arrested Surabhi Kumari, a second year student of RIMS Medical College, Ranchi. Along with this, a person named Surendra has been arrested from Hazaribagh.
Surabhi Kumari is said to be a part of the solver gang. On the day of the paper on 5 May, she physically went to OASIS school in Hazaribagh to solve the paper. Apart from this, Surendra had helped Pankaj, who was recently arrested, in stealing the paper. Surendra was arrested from Hazaribagh on 18 July and has been taken into custody for 4 days.
Surabhi has just been presented in Patna court. The solver gang was with the four medical students of AIIMS Patna who were arrested recently.
