Dehradun – ByteXL, India’s fastest-growing edtech platform focused on transforming engineering education, has raised $5.9 million in a Series A funding round. The funding round was led by Kalaari Capital, with the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation as the lead investor. The investment reinforces the company’s tremendous growth over the last four years and reinforces ByteXL’s mission to provide high-quality, affordable technical skills to engineering students in Tier II and Tier III cities across India.
The fresh capital will be used for team expansion, product development, offering new digital tools and technologies, and reaching out to more colleges and universities across the country. Since its inception, byteXL has partnered with over 26 colleges and universities across India to train over one lakh students in various software technologies including emerging technologies such as programming, cybersecurity, full stack development, cloud technologies, etc. These efforts have led to an increase in placement rates and student retention at their partner institutions.
Recently, ByteXL has collaborated with Microsoft to launch a new B.Tech CSE course in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, which is designed to meet the current industry demands.
