Speculation has increased that women will be given special attention in the full budget this time. The third Modi government can focus on making women more independent and self-reliant in the social and economic spheres.

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the budget next Tuesday. Experts believe that there can be several announcements for the socio-economic development of women. They say that women can be self-reliant or start their own business, should be looked into.

A report says that despite the low number of women workers in various sectors, the responsibilities are high. Between 2020 and 2022, women funded 15 percent of all startups. So there should be some declaration that women are favored in start-ups.

The data shows that the number of women workers was 32.8 percent in 2021-22 and it increased to 37 percent in 2022-23. But the Modi government thinks that this is not enough. Therefore, the government wants the number of women workers to be 50 percent.
