Jaipur. Former Chief Minister of Rajasthan and senior Congress leader Ashok Gehlot has said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has always been doing politics of religion, but misleading the people in the name of God and spreading hatred is not religion but sin.
Gehlot said this in his statement here on Friday. He said that in the last 10 years, the BJP has done the work of increasing religious frenzy in the country in a very planned manner. But the fact is that in the recent Lok Sabha elections and assembly elections, the BJP has lost in most of the religious cities like Ayodhya, Chitrakoot, Sitapur, Shivganga, Prayagraj, Nashik, Ramtek, Badrinath, Shravasti, Mangalore (District- Haridwar).
He said that this is a clear message from the people that the politics of religious frenzy will not be accepted in this country and Dharma will always prevail over those who talk of Adharma.
