Bigg Boss 17 contestant Soniya Bansal was admitted to a Mumbai hospital after suffering a panic attack on Sunday, July 22. The actress complained of unease following her appearance at the Nexa Awards and was rushed for medical assistance. The former Bigg Boss has reportedly been going through panic attacks for quite some time now. The actress had been battling mental health issues.

As per a report by Times Now, the actress complained of a health issue during the award event. Citing a source close to the actress, the report mentions Soniya had been suffering panic attacks for the past four months.
The actress was trying hard to fight the mental issues but had a breakdown.
Soniya is still under medical supervision and formal communication on her health status is awaited. The incident is a reminder of why there’s a need to take mental health challenges seriously. Even the most seemingly happy individuals could be going through a mental breakdown.
