In neighboring Bangladesh, the demand to change the system of reservation in government jobs is getting fierce. However, protests have started across the country regarding this. The whole of Bangladesh is burning in the fire of reservations. Bangladesh is currently burning badly with violent clashes and arson incidents taking place at some places. Reserve fire is responsible for this. A total of 32 people have died since the protest against reservation. However, the violence is not stopping.
Enraged students ransacked and besieged the country's state-run TV channel and completely vandalized and destroyed the front of the television office. Except this. Why did the uproar over the reservation?
Bangladesh has a total reservation system of 56 percent in government jobs. In this 30 percent reservation for the children and family of the freedom fighters who fought for the freedom of Bangladesh in 1971 war, 10 percent for administrative district, 5 percent for women, 5 percent for minorities and 1 percent for the disabled in government jobs.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina condemned the killing of protesters
Bangladeshi Prime Minister Hasina criticized the “killing” of protesters Thursday night and vowed that those responsible would be punished regardless of their political affiliation.
Government of India issued an advisory
Looking at the situation in Bangladesh, the Indian government has issued an advisory and Indian people, especially students, have been asked to exercise caution. The Indian government has advised Indians living in Bangladesh not to leave their rooms. It is also said to be in touch with the Indian High Commissioner. Emergency numbers have also been announced.
