Reports are suggesting that Ayesha Jahanzeb has reconciled with her husband and dropped the domestic abuse case.
Ayesha’s life took a tumultuous turn when she accused her husband Haris Ali of domestic violence.
The shocking news of Ayesha’s ordeal reached the world when she found herself in a police station, seeking refuge from the abuse.
Ayesha, understandably shaken, pleaded for privacy following the incident, while Haris Ali was taken into police custody.
Throughout the process, Haris continued to deny the allegations against him.
Adding more insight into their troubled relationship, Ayesha’s friend, anchor Mansoor Ali Khan, shared details about what the couple was facing.
Recalling an incident where Haris had allegedly hit Ayesha, Mansoor intervened and warned Haris against such behaviour and attempted to help them reconcile their differences.
Mansoor said: “I warned Haris that he cannot raise his hand on Ayesha. Haris told me that he was embarrassed.”
The revelations only deepened the public’s concern for Ayesha’s well-being.
In a recent development, reports have suggested that Ayesha and Haris Ali have reconciled.
Ayesha appeared in court to record her statement, where the duty judge inquired about her visible bruises.
Accompanied by her lawyer, Ayesha expressed her belief that no woman should ever experience such abuse.
It was said that the couple decided to reconcile with the intervention of their elders.
Ayesha Jahanzeb took to Instagram to share her recovery journey, posting a series of photos along with an emotional message.
She thanked everyone who supported her, expressed gratitude for their concerns about her safety and health, and acknowledged the pain she endured.
Ayesha also referred to the tendency of victim-blaming and highlighted the courage required to stand up against domestic violence and mental abuse.
She concluded her message by praying for the safety of all daughters and requested privacy from the media fraternity, followers, and friends.
She acknowledged that her family was going through a difficult time.
However, amidst the reports of reconciliation, Ayesha’s daughter, Zoha Tauqeer, stated that her mother is not actually back with her husband.
Instead, Ayesha had dropped the charges for the sake of their children, while simultaneously filing for divorce in court.
Zoha wrote:
“Media needs to stop twisting things for headlines there has been no reconciliation there is no exception for domestic violence.”
“Yes no charges were pressed for the betterment of the kids.
“However, khula (divorce) has been filed because violence is unacceptable.”
