Speaker of Punjab Assembly Kultar Singh Sandhwan has expressed deep grief over the demise of S. Jaspal Singh Heron, Chief Editor of Punjabi newspaper 'Pehredaar'.

In a statement issued here today, the Speaker of the Vidhan Sabha said that the news of the death of S. Jaspal Singh Heran, the Chief Editor of Sansthan Pehredar and a sympathizer of the sect, is saddening. He was ill for some time. He said that S. Heran served as a journalist in different Punjabi newspapers and S. Heran will always be remembered with respect for his valuable contribution in the field of sectarian journalism. The Speaker prayed to God to grant spiritual peace to the departed soul and a place in his feet and also give strength to the family to obey God's command.
