Ranchi. Anoop Kumar, who returned after winning the silver medal in the Under-15 Asian Wrestling Championship, was given a grand welcome by the Jharkhand Wrestling Association and Jharkhand State Sports Promotion Society (JSSPS) when he reached the Ranchi airport on Thursday. During this, Anoop Kumar was given a grand welcome with music, flower bouquets and garlands by the General Secretary of Jharkhand State Wrestling Association, Rajneesh Kumar, on reaching the Ranchi airport. JSSPS officials Pushpa Hansda, Mukul Toppo, Hockey Jharkhand General Secretary Vijay Shankar Singh were also present on the occasion. Wrestling Association's treasurer Bablu Kumar, wrestling coach Rajiv Ranjan and wrestling players were also present on the occasion.

It is noteworthy that in the Under-15 Asian Wrestling Championship held in Thailand from 16 July to 18 July, Anoop Kumar has brought laurels not only to his state Jharkhand, but to the entire country by winning the silver medal for the Indian wrestling team.
