Los Angeles. American comedian Bob Newhart died at the age of 94. He breathed his last at his home here on Thursday. His public relations officer Jerry Digney has confirmed this. The New York Times report quoted Jerry Digney as saying that Bob Newhart entered the comedy world in 1960 as a stuttering everyman character. He appeared in two of television's most memorable sitcoms in his long career. People can never forget his comedy album “The Button-Down Mind of Bob Newhart”. This album won the top prize at the 1961 Grammy Awards.
