Budhana. In the case of the encounter that took place on Thursday morning on Luhsana road in the area, the relatives created a ruckus at the police station alleging a fake encounter. They alleged that the accused were handed over to the police in front of the village head, despite this the police is showing the incident as an encounter and shooting in the leg. The relatives and villagers including BKU and RLD leaders were present at the police station till late night.
According to the police, during the encounter on Thursday morning, the accused Arshad and Lokendra were injured by bullets in their legs. On receiving the information, the relatives came to the police station along with the villagers. They made serious allegations against the police. Lokendra's father Indresh alleged that the police had taken him into custody two days ago. Lokendra was handed over to the police in the presence of the former Pradhan, while Indresh was released.
Arshad's relatives said that he was handed over to the police in the presence of village head Kalwa. The accused were in the police station for two days. In such a situation, the police is showing a fake encounter. On receiving the information, workers led by Bhakiyu leader Anuj Baliyan and workers led by RLD leader Vinod Malik, former chief also reached the police station. The speakers at the protest accused the police and said that the police is patting its own back by staging a fake encounter.
MP Harendra Malik also reached the protest and said that the police is harassing the common people and protecting the criminals. BKU workers parked tractors in the police station and announced an indefinite protest. They also warned to fill the police station with stray animals from Friday. Anuj Baliyan said that their demand is to take action against the guilty policemen by filing a case against them. Sanjeev Panwar, Sudhir Pradhan, Vikas Tyagi, Ajay, Arvind, Vineet, Surendra Sehrawat, Gajju Pathan, Satyapal, Shamim Saifi, etc. were present at the protest.
