Kathmandu, 22 July (Tezzbuzz). A wave of faith has surged in Pashupatinath temple on the first Monday of Sawan in Nepal's capital Kathmandu. It has been raining in Kathmandu since night. People are standing in queue with umbrellas to perform Jalabhishek. People from many states of India are also included among the devotees who reach here.
To ensure that devotees do not have to wait for long, all the four gates of Pashupatinath temple have been opened along with Mangal Aarti at 4 am. Dr. Milan Thapa, Secretary of Pashupati Area Development Fund, has said that all the four gates of the temple will remain open from morning till midnight during the month of Sawan. The number of devotees visiting Pashupatinath temple during the month of Sawan is 5-6 lakh on other days but on Monday the number of visitors reaches 9-10 lakh.
At this time, there are miles long queues in Vankali area, Guheswari area, Gaushala area, Tilganga area. Apart from Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal bordering Nepal, people from Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Tezzbuzz, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have also arrived to have darshan of the Lord.
