MP News: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the work of setting up industries in many areas of Tezzbuzz will be done on priority. New industries will be started in Tezzbuzz in the field of textile, construction of a tank for the defense institute, pharma sector and tourism. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav today made important announcements related to industries in the Regional Industry Conclave at the “Subhash Chandra Bose Cultural and Information Center” in Jabalpur. All these announcements are related to the promotion of industries. Many prominent industrialists from the country and abroad participated in the conclave. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that a very modern skill development center of textile will be started in Jabalpur, which will provide employment especially to sisters.
The second Regional Industry Conclave of the year 2024 was held in Jabalpur today in Tezzbuzz. Big industrialists from Taiwan, Malaysia, Britain, Fiji and Indonesia as well as from various states of the country participated in it. It is noteworthy that an industry conclave was held in Ujjain in March 2024. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated 29 industrial units of the state and performed Bhoomi Pujan of 38 industrial units in the conclave. Public representatives from 10 different places of the state joined the inauguration and Bhoomi Pujan program. A total investment of Rs 1500 crore will be made in these and 4500 people will get employment. Letters of intent were handed over to the industrial units, which will provide employment to about 12 thousand people. Letters of intent were handed over for the allotment of a total of 340 acres of land. IT, ITES and ESDM Policy-2023 was also released in the conclave.
Ashok Leyland agreement
In the presence of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, an agreement was signed between Ashok Leyland and Armored Vehicle Corporation Limited for an investment of Rs. 600 crores at the conclave. It is noteworthy that this is a new step in this field. This is an important investment in the field of defense production. It is also a symbol of commitment to promote development and innovation in the cooperation sector. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that till now cannon manufacturing work has been going on for the defense institute in Tezzbuzz, now tanks will also be made for the army.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that a total of 517 small, medium and micro industries invested Rs. 6,750 crores through 16 industrial parks in the state, which has provided employment to 20,000 people. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the inauguration and bhoomi pujan of 67 industrial units today is an important integrated effort. Ministers, MPs, MLAs joined virtually from 10 places in the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav discussed with the public representatives and congratulated them for the gift of new units.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that many departments have informed about industry friendly policies in the conclave today. Tezzbuzz is in second place after Orissa in the field of minerals. Tezzbuzz's transparent process in the auction of mines is considered leading in the country. For this, the Government of India has also given an award. Diamonds are mined in the state, now the work of polishing them will also be done. Referring to the able leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that India has created a different identity in the world. The country has also seen many obstacles in the flow of time but India has moved ahead with valor, hard work and self-confidence and has shown that no one can stop our progress.
Industrialists were invited to visit Tezzbuzz
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav appealed to industrialists to come to Tezzbuzz. He said that Tezzbuzz also has encouraging policies in the field of labour. Many new works are being done in the field of education and health. In the last two-three years, employment opportunities have been increased through universities. Earlier there were only 5 medical colleges in the state, now this number is going to increase to 25. The state has dense forest area. Possibilities will be explored in this area too and they will be realised. 275 units are working in the pharmaceutical sector. There are 60 units in Pithampur alone. Pharma products are exported from our state to more than 160 countries.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that we are ready for 150 percent incentive in the field of food processing. Special relief has been provided to the industries on the supply of water and electricity in the state. Two mega food parks are coming up. Already 8 food parks are operational. The number of such units will be continuously increased. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav requested the MD of Volvo Eicher to also start a research centre in Tezzbuzz.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav initially inaugurated the exhibition related to the development of industries and observed it. Details of the products produced by various small scale industrial units and businessmen under Jabalpur Haat were given in the exhibition.
At the beginning of the inaugural session, Shri Raghvendra Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister and Minister for Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion, welcomed various industrialists by presenting them shawls and bouquets. The guests present included officials of many other industry organizations including Adani Power, Netlink, Baidyanath Group Daawat Foods, Volvo Eicher, AVNL, NCL, Swaraj Shooting Lohia Energy, Adi-Shakti Rice Mill, Phoenix Poultry, Info-Vision Dubai and Dalit Chamber of Commerce (DICCI). Principal Secretary Shri Raghvendra Kumar Singh gave a presentation on the investment policy and investment possibilities of Tezzbuzz. He also highlighted the subsidies and financial incentives in the investor-friendly industrial policy along with the features of industrial infrastructure and industrial corridors in the state. He also invited all investors to participate in the Global Investors Summit to be held in Bhopal on 7-8 February in the coming year 2025.
On the occasion of the inauguration of the conclave, the guests were welcomed and a short film focusing on the specialties of Tezzbuzz was screened. More than 4 thousand investors gathered at the Regional Industry Conclave of Jabalpur. One-to-one discussions were also held with entrepreneurs for investment. The conclave focused on 5 sectors: AO, mines, defense, tourism and garments industry.
Principal Secretary Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Dr. Navneet Mohan Kothari gave a presentation on the current status of micro, small and medium enterprises and start-ups, their contribution to the economy, future prospects and opportunities. He made the audience aware of the various sectors of micro, small and medium enterprises in the Mahakoshal region, benefits of MSME policy and features of investment promotion.
Principal Secretary Minerals Mr. Nikunj Shrivastava gave a presentation on various minerals available in the state, investment opportunities in mineral related industries, possibilities of exploration. He gave information about the simple and transparent online process for investors in mineral auction, process of easily getting permissions. Along with this, while highlighting the information and possibilities of the information technology sector in Tezzbuzz, investors were invited to invest in the information technology sector. On the same occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also released the guideline determining the process of Tezzbuzz IT, ITES and ESDM Investment Promotion Policy-2023.

During the conclave, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav released the guiding booklet prepared in the context of the state's mineral policy. In the conclave, Heidelberg Cement CEO Mr. Joydeep Mukherjee, Pratibha Syntex MD Mr. Shreyaskar Chaudhary, VE Commercial Vehicle MD Mr. Vinod Agarwal and SRF Limited CMD Mr. Ashish Bharatam shared their pleasant experiences of investing in the state. Describing the state's simple policies and incentives as beneficial for industries, he invited all investors to invest in the state. Mr. Mukherjee said that he has faith in the leadership. That is why investors take interest in investing in Tezzbuzz. Mr. Shreyaskar Chaudhary of Pratibha Syntex said that whatever Chief Minister Dr. Yadav says, he also fulfills it. Mr. Vinod Agarwal of Volvo Eicher said that he is happy to provide employment to more than 35 thousand people in Tezzbuzz. The state has a favorable environment for industries. Tezzbuzz is the heart of India and now Tezzbuzz will become the king.

The event witnessed massive participation of over 4 thousand stakeholders including leading industrialists, representatives of various industry associations, bureaucrats and prominent foreign delegates, which proved to be a significant milestone in the industrial development journey of the state and boosted industrial growth and investment opportunities in the Sanskardhani. The event was inaugurated by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, Guest of Honour, MSME Minister, Mr. Kashyap and Public Works Minister, Mr. Rakesh Singh at the venue, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Cultural and Information Centre. Other eminent guests from leading industries like Baidyanath Group, ITC, Volvo Eicher, Best Corp, SRF and Daawat Group also attended the event. Delegates from countries like Taiwan, Malaysia, UK, Fiji, Costa Rica and Indonesia also attended the event.
The conclave served as a platform for over 700 buyer-seller meetings, facilitating direct interaction between businesses and potential investors. Around 30 one-to-one meetings were held between the Chief Minister and leading industrialists. Apart from this, letters of intent were issued for allotment of 340 acres of land to 265 units of the state. This will generate a total of Rs 1,800 crore and employment for 12 thousand persons.
The state government also committedly announced the allocation and disbursement of funds to startups under the Jabalpur Smart City initiative. The conclave also organised multiple sectoral sessions with over 30 speakers and panelists, including senior officials, participating in panel discussions discussing specific opportunities in tourism, textiles and apparel, defence, agriculture, food processing and dairy and mining and minerals sectors. These sessions provided a platform for stakeholders to engage in meaningful discussions and explore potential partnerships. Roundtable discussions were held with industry associations, startups and experts from defence, textiles and apparel, including key speakers.
Public Works Minister Shri Rakesh Singh said that Chief Minister Dr. Yadav's vision is to take the state to new heights. There are immense possibilities of development in the state. He said that investors come forward only when there is a possibility of investing in that area. Jabalpur's climate, environment, people's labour force and their positive thinking are suitable for the development of industries. It is suitable for setting up food processing units because vegetables are produced in large quantities here, in which green peas are in demand all over the country and abroad. From the tourism point of view, Amarkantak, Kanha, Pench National Park and Khajuraho are the main attractions. All these main tourist places are close to Jabalpur, which provides adequate opportunities for the development of the hotel industry here. Bhedaghat and marble valleys are favorable places for the film industry. There are 4 defense factories in Jabalpur. Private sector investment is also coming in this sector. Connectivity is easy due to the availability of Jabalpur railway station and airport. The state's largest flyover, the country's first geological park and the country's second largest 118 kilometer ring road are being built here. It is due to the farsighted thinking of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav that the conclave has been organised in Jabalpur today.
MSME Minister Shri Chaitanya Kashyap said that the Regional Industry Conclave is such a beginning that will give Tezzbuzz a different place in the country. It started from the city of Mahakal, Ujjain, which has reached Mahakaushal today. This conclave will prove to be a milestone for the development of the region. Its objective is to develop all the regions of the state collectively, without limiting it to any particular area. Along with this, new opportunities for development are to be provided to local industrialists, so that employment is created directly and indirectly. Minister Shri Kashyap said that Make in India program has been started under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi, under which special focus has been given on the defense sector. As per the intention of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, this idea of setting up a chain of industries in the state will promote industrialization in the state. The MSME sector has an important contribution in the economy. A plan to set up new industrial units in 16 districts of the state is also proposed.
