The money for Prime Minister's housing may increase!

Prime Minister Modi had recently said during the motion of thanks on the President's address that the government is going to increase the number of PM houses in the country. It is expected that in this budget the government may announce an increase in the PM Housing Fund.

There may be an announcement to increase the amount of Rs 6 thousand given to farmers every year to Rs 12 thousand.

To provide relief to the middle class, some changes are expected in the tax slab. It is expected that by changing the income tax slab, it can be increased from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 5 lakh.

Suggestions sought from all ministries before the budget

Before presenting the first full budget of the Modi government, the Finance Ministry had sought suggestions from all ministries regarding the budget. The Finance Ministry sought suggestions from every department so that attention can be given to every sector in the budget. In the recent Lok Sabha elections, BJP has suffered a major setback in rural areas. BJP's seats in rural areas have decreased and now next year assembly elections are to be held in Uttar Pradesh, an important state for BJP. So it is believed that BJP will focus on farmers and rural areas to improve its position. This can reflect in the budget.
