Mahoba. A case of kidnapping and rape of a teenage girl by two youths has come to light on Monday in the Sadar Kotwali area of ​​the district. The accused committed the crime on Sunday night when she was sleeping on the roof with her brother. The police have registered a case on the basis of the complaint and arrested one of the accused.

A youth living in a village in Sadar Kotwali area told the police in his complaint that he was sleeping with his wife in the courtyard of the house. His 15-year-old daughter was sleeping on the roof with her brother. At night, the village's strongmen Dev Singh Rajput and Sonu Rajput reached the roof from the adjacent house and kidnapped his daughter and took her to an old house. Here they beat her and gang-raped her. The family members of both the accused have threatened that if they complain to the police station, they will not be able to live in the village. With the help of villagers, the family has caught the accused Sonu Singh and handed him over to the police. The unconscious and injured daughter has been admitted to the hospital.

Area Officer Deepak Dubey said that on the basis of the complaint, a case has been registered against Dev Singh and Sonu Singh under the POCSO Act including rape. Accused Sonu Singh is in police custody and raids are being conducted to arrest the other accused. The victim is being medically examined.
