Apart from this, the teaser also suggests a new colour scheme, which is a combination of grey and black. The tagline “Plus, More, Extra” implies that the phone may have a bigger display and additional features, which may further increase the interest.
The company has confirmed the launch date in India
Akis Evangelidis, co-founder of Nothing Phone, took to X to share some insights: “With the Phone (2a) Plus, we had the opportunity to create an upgraded version for discerning users who demand more processing power. We also made some improvements that did not require changes to the hardware design. Finally, we wrapped it up with a new kick-ass variant that reflects these upgrades.” His statement has further increased the anticipation around the new release.
Nothing Phone 2a Price
Nothing Phone(2a) launched in India at ₹23,999. According to several media reports, it is being speculated that the price of Phone 2a Plus could be around Rs 30,000.
To recall, the Nothing Phone (2a) is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro SoC and features a 50MP dual camera setup. It features a 6.7-inch flexible AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1300 nits of peak brightness. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging.
It will be interesting to see the launch of the Nothing Phone(2a) Plus if it is priced around ₹30,000 as there are some strong contenders in this segment at the moment.
