Rohit Sharma's biggest dream remains unfulfilled

However, till now this dream of Rohit Sharma has not been fulfilled, last time also the Indian team had to face defeat at the hands of Australia in the final of ICC World Cup 2023.
Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli still look very fit on the field, both the batsmen had said at the time of retirement from T20 cricket that they still wanted to play for India, but they have announced their retirement to give a chance to the young players.

Mohammed Shami told when Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will retire from ODIs
Mohammed Shami said in a podcast with Shubhankar Mishra that
“Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will definitely play the ICC World Cup 2027 and no one should have any doubt about this.”
Mohammed Shami said in this interview that
“Why will they not play, what is the doubt in this? Is there any doubt on their (Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli) fitness or skill? I don't trust people, I urge people to pray.”
Mohammed Shami further said that
“Pray for the fitness of your best performers and pride, pray that in 2027, Rohit, Virat and we should be there. In 2027, most of the players should be the same who participated in the 2023 World Cup.”
