Mumbai: Actress Saiee Manjrekar says she only wants to play the role of a normal girl right now and will break this image by playing different roles with time. She made her Bollywood debut with Salman Khan's “Dabangg 3” and has since appeared in Telugu films like “Ghani”, “Major” and “Skanda”. Saiee Manjrekar (22)'s upcoming film is “Auron Mein Kahaan Dum Tha”, in which she plays Tabu's childhood role. The film also stars Ajay Devgn and Shantanu Maheshwari.

On playing the role of a simple girl, the actress told PTI that she is still very young and innocent and it is reflected on her face somewhere. She says that as she experiences things in her life, it will start showing automatically. She said that she only wants to play the role of a simple girl right now and she will break this image by playing different roles with time.

 

Sai, daughter of famous actor and filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar, said that every artist's journey is different. She said, “Everyone's journey is different but you have to be among them and experience things and see where you want to be.”

Directed by Neeraj Pandey, 'Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha' revolves around a couple played by Ajay Devgn and Tabu. They get separated when the male character goes to jail for murder. They meet again after 20 years when he is released from jail.

 

On her experience of working with Tabu, Sai said, “I think the ease with which Tabu ma'am executes each scene is really inspiring. She is very comfortable and natural in front of the camera and that inspires me a lot. The film will release in theatres on August 2. It also stars Jimmy Shergill.
