Philadelphia, July 22 (Tezzbuzz). Three people were killed and six were injured in a shooting at a gathering in Philadelphia, USA at around 2 am on Sunday night. According to the police, more than 100 people were present at the gathering in Philadelphia's Carol Park area. The police is investigating the CCTV footage installed nearby.
Police say that initial investigation has revealed that firing took place between several parties. Cartridge shells of more than one caliber have been found at the scene. According to police, a 33-year-old man died on the spot. The rest died at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. The condition of all the injured is stable. A woman is also among the injured.
Inspector DF Paes said that 25 to 30 cartridge shells were found at the scene. One person was shot from very close range. It seems that he was shot at point blank range. However, there is no further information about why the meeting was called. Police have recovered a weapon. No accused has been arrested yet.
