Sairaj Bahutule to serve as India’s interim bowling coach in SL: The Indian cricket team will leave for Sri Lanka tour on Monday, 22 July. Team India's chief selector Ajit Agarkar and head coach Gautam Gambhir will attend a press conference before leaving for the Sri Lanka tour, but before that BCCI has announced the interim bowling coach of the Indian team for the upcoming T20 and ODI series. Actually, Gautam Gambhir's choice Morne Morkel's name was being discussed and he could be appointed as the next bowling coach of Team India, but he will not go with the Indian team on the Sri Lanka tour and Sairaj Bahutule has been given this responsibility.
Sairaj Bahutule will join the new coaching staff of Team India. Abhishek Nair and Ryan Ten Descotte are present as associate coaches with the new head coach of the Indian team, while fielding coach T Dilip will remain with the team. Sairaj Bahutule has played 2 Tests and 8 ODIs for the Indian team. He was an excellent all-rounder who is now associated with the National Cricket Academy.

Indian cricket team in Sri Lanka
Team India will first face Sri Lanka in a 3 match T20 series. The series will start with two consecutive matches which will be held on 27th and 28th July, while the final match of the series will be played on 30th July. After the T20 series, the ODI series will start from 2nd August. The first match will be played on 2nd and the second match on 4th August, after which the last ODI will end on 7th August.
