New Delhi. Nissan has officially showcased the X-Trail in the country ahead of its India launch, which is expected to be launched in the coming weeks. The three-row SUV will be sold alongside the Magnite, which is currently the brand's only car in India. It will be offered in only one fully loaded variant once its price is announced.
The new X-Trail three-row SUV will be sold in three colours including Pearl White, Diamond Black and Champagne Silver. Talking about the size, the car measures 4,680 mm in length, 1,840 mm in width and 1,725 mm in height, while the wheelbase is 2,705 mm. The SUV gets a ground clearance of 210 mm.
The 2024 Nissan X-Trail will come with a 1.5-litre, variable compression, turbo-petrol engine that is paired with a 12V mild-hybrid system. This engine produces 160bhp of power and 300Nm of torque. This model has a CVT transmission. The company claims that this SUV can give a mileage of 13.7kmpl. This model can accelerate from 0-100kmph in 9.6 seconds.
Talking about the features of the new X-Trail, it includes split LED headlamps, 20-inch machined alloy wheels, front door-mounted ORVMs, LED taillights, silver roof rails, integrated spoiler, shark-fin antenna, rear wiper and washer, and contrast-colour skid plates. Also, a tyre puncture repair kit will be available instead of a spare wheel.
Interior features include a three-spoke steering wheel, fully digital coloured instrument console, paddle shifters, electronic parking brake with auto-hold function, wireless charger, drive modes, panoramic sunroof and dual-zone climate control. Apart from this, it will also get a surround-view monitor, seven airbags, second-row seats with reclining function, VDC, HSA, front parking sensors, traction control and a limited-slip differential. Nissan X-Trail can compete with cars like Hyundai Alcazar, Scorpio-N, AUV700.
