Noida. Plantation programs were organized on a large scale in Gautam Buddha Nagar district today. In this noble work, the three authorities, the district administration and social organizations started making the district green by planting shady and fruit-bearing trees at various places. Yamuna Authority CEO Dr. Arunvir Singh inaugurated the Tree Plantation Public Festival program by planting shady and fruit-bearing trees in the park of Pocket 2B of Sector-18 along with the officers and employees of the authority.
CEO of Yamuna Authority, Dr. Arunvir Singh said that the target of planting 36.50 crore saplings during the tree plantation public festival in the year 2024-25 set by the UP government has been set in the entire state. For which the Yamuna Authority has been given the target of planting 69100 saplings in the year 2024-25. In comparison to this, a total of 58735 saplings of Neem, Jamun Peepal, Pilkhan, Gulmohar Chakresia, Banyan, Champa, Ashoka etc. were planted in the Yamuna Authority area today.
During the program, Yamuna Authority's ACEO Kapil Singh, ACEO Vipin Kumar Jain, OSD Shailendra Bhatia, OSD Shailendra Kumar Singh, OSD Rajesh Kumar, General Manager (Project) AK Singh, General Manager (Finance) Vishambar Babu, Deputy General Manager (Finance) Ashok Kumar, Senior Project Officer PP Singh, Deputy General Manager (Project) Rajendra Singh Bhati, Senior Staff Officer Nand Kishore, Deputy Director (Garden) Anand Mohan Singh along with other officers, employees and villagers of the authority were present.
