Koderma. An ambulance was smashed to pieces in a collision with a sand-laden tractor on Friday morning in Kothiyarbar under Domchanch police station of the district. Two people travelling in the ambulance were seriously injured in this road accident. The injured have been identified as Tinku Singh (40) and Ashok Kumar Singh (38), residents of Aurangabad, Bihar. According to the information, both were going to Deoghar for ambulance service in Shravani Mela with an ambulance from Aurangabad, Bihar. During this, the ambulance driver fell asleep and collided with a sand-laden tractor. Both the people travelling in the ambulance were seriously injured in the incident. The injured were brought to Sadar Hospital with the help of the police. After first aid, both were referred to Ranchi RIMS for better treatment. In another incident, the driver of the auto was injured when the auto got hit by a vehicle and crashed near Mahto Ahara in Tilaiya police station area of the district on Thursday night. The injured has been identified as Suresh Pandit (30), a resident of Tilaiya Basti. The auto driver was returning to Tilaiya after dropping the passenger from Rampur. Meanwhile, a vehicle hit the auto near Mahato Ahara. After the accident, the injured were taken to Sadar Hospital Koderma for treatment with the help of local people.
