Hathras. In village Ruhal of Sasni Kotwali area, a high tension wire broke and fell on a woman who was plucking ladyfinger in the field. The woman suffered severe burns.
On the morning of 19th July, 42 year old Pinky Devi, wife of Shyamveer Singh, a resident of Ruhal, was plucking ladyfinger in her field. Meanwhile, the high tension line wire passing above the field broke and fell on Pinky. Due to which Pinky got severely burnt.
The family members called the employees of the electricity department and interrupted the supply. The woman was taken to CHC for treatment. From where, after giving first aid, she was referred to the district hospital.
There are joints everywhere in the dilapidated high tension line
The dilapidated high tension line passing through village Ruhal has joints at many places. The villagers have informed the JE about the problem in writing, but no solution has been found till date. Even after the complaints of the villagers, no officer has checked the condition of the line till date.
