The tech giant, Google has posted a new teaser video for the Pixel 9 Pro Fold nearly a month ahead of the “Made By Google” event. The teaser suggests an off-white colour option for the foldable. The smartphone is also confirmed to debut in the Indian market soon. It is expected to come with upgrades over last year’s Pixel Fold.
In the teaser, the handset is shown with the tagline “foldable phone built for the Gemini era” and we can see an AI chatbot in the video. The video further reveals the external display and its hinge mechanism of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. As per the teaser, the cover display has hole punch cutout.
Additionally, the tech giant has confirmed that the Pixel 9 Pro Fold will be launched in the Indian market alongside the Pixel 9 Pro on August 14, a day after the global launch event.
Meanwhile, the smartphone is expected to be available in Obsidian and Porcelain colour options. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is likely to be available at a price of EUR1,899 (approximately Rs 1,68,900) for the 256 GB model and EUR 2,029 (approximately Rs 1,80,500) for the 512 GB model.
Likewise, the Pixel 9 Pro is expected to be available in four colours including Obsidian, Porcelain, Hazel (sage green), and Pink. This smartphone is expected to be priced at EUR1,099 (approximately Rs 97,500) for 128 GB, EUR1,199 (approximately Rs 1,06,400) for 256 GB, and EUR1,329 (approximately Rs 1,18,000) for 512 GB.
