Bhopal, July 19 (HS). The country's largest government telecom company BSNL is once again returning home, because the country's three private telecom companies Jio, Vodafone-Idea and Bharti Airtel have made their recharge plans very expensive. After which the customers of these three companies have once again started turning towards BSNL.
In the month of July, more than one lakh customers have come to the regional office of BSNL in Bhopal to port their mobile numbers from Jio, Vodafone-Idea and Bharti Airtel to BSNL, while more than 27 thousand customers have ported their mobile numbers to BSNL SIM. Not only this, BSNL is constantly giving many great offers to attract customers towards itself.
BSNL has many tariff plans ranging from one month to a whole year, on which great offers are available. The price of all these recharge plans is cheaper than the plans of Vodafone-Idea, Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio. This is the big reason why customers have turned to BSNL. Heavy crowds are being seen at all BSNL offices in Bhopal at this time.
Anyway, the government company BSNL is still providing the cheapest recharge plans. The price of which is almost half as compared to Jio and Airtel. Although BSNL currently has 4G service, while Jio and Airtel have 5G service, but now the plans of these companies are starting to seem very expensive to the customers, that is why people are now porting to BSNL.
The easy way to port
To port Airtel and Jio SIM to BSNL, first you have to send an SMS to 1900 and request to port the mobile number. For this, write 'PORT' in your SMS box and send it after a space by writing your mobile number. After this, you will have to go to BSNL's customer support center to port the mobile number, here you will have to submit the necessary documents including Aadhar card, photo, biometric. After this, you will be given a new SIM by BSNL. After this, a unique code will be sent to that SIM, with the help of which you will be able to activate your new SIM.
BSNL's 5G service will start soon
According to BSNL officials, BSNL has partnered with Tata. With the help of which it is considering providing 5G services from 4G services.
