Muzaffarnagar. The court has convicted two accused of attempting murder and sentenced them to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment and also imposed a fine of twenty thousand rupees. The court has pronounced the sentence after the police collected evidence, conducted a qualitative investigation and strong advocacy of the prosecution.
Plaintiff Sumit Kumar son of Amar Singh resident of village Rajpur Kalan police station Jansath, while giving a written complaint to Jansath police station, informed that the accused Anuj alias Holder son of Pappu and Parvindra son of Tejpal, residents of village Rajpur Kalan police station Jansath, fired a pistol at the plaintiff and the plaintiff's brother Sonveer alias Sonu with the intention to kill them, in which the plaintiff's brother Sonveer alias Sonu was seriously injured.
On the basis of the complaint given by the plaintiff, the Jansath police station took immediate action on the above incident and registered FIR No. 629/2014 under sections 323, 324, 427, 504, 506, 307 of the Indian Penal Code. The Jansath police station arrested the accused Anuj alias Holder and Parvinder and presented them before the court and after completing the evidence collection process and investigation, filed a chargesheet against the accused in the court on 28 June 2015.
In the heinous crime like attempt to murder, effective advocacy was done under the guidance of Senior Superintendent of Police Abhishek Singh and under the leadership of Area Magistrate Jansath Yatendra Singh Nagar and from Jansath Police Station level and all the witnesses were produced before the court on time and effective advocacy was done by Special Public Prosecutor Kuldeep Pundir.
As a result of the effective advocacy of the prosecution and the police, today the court of ADJ/POCSO-1 sentenced the accused Kala Anuj alias Holder son of Pappu and Parvinder son of Tejpal, residents of village Rajpur Kalan, police station Jansath, to 10 years rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs 20,000 under Section 307 of the Indian Penal Code.
