Jio, Airtel, Vodafone have hiked the recharge charges drastically. People are affected by this. In this situation, lakhs of people are switching to the state-owned BSNL.

Jio, Airtel and Vodafone are the private telecom companies in India. BSNL is a central government telecommunication company. Private telecom companies, especially Jio, have introduced attractive plans to attract more users. In this case, PSNL will continue with 2G service. Other private companies have moved on to 5G.

At the same time they also increased the price of their plans. Recently these companies increased the recharge charges by up to 25%. Hence people are switching to BSNL which offers low cost service. BSNL has now started offering 4G service.

2.50 lakh people have switched their numbers to BSNL after Jio, Airtel and Vodafone hiked service charges. Another 25 lakh people bought new PSNL SIM cards. While the initial tariff of other companies is fixed at Rs.199, BSNL is offering the same service at Rs.108. BSNL which is currently offering 4G service is soon going to introduce 5G service.
