2.50 lakh people have switched their numbers to BSNL after Jio, Airtel and Vodafone hiked service charges. Another 25 lakh people bought new PSNL SIM cards. While the initial tariff of other companies is fixed at Rs.199, BSNL is offering the same service at Rs.108. BSNL which is currently offering 4G service is soon going to introduce 5G service.
