It is being said that the computer's operating system Windows is facing technical problems. Microsoft users are facing problems in working.
Trouble happening all over the world
According to the information, there are reports of system crashes in many big banks and shops in New Zealand. Companies like ASB, KiwiBank, Westpac, ANZ and Microsoft are facing problems in their systems. The self-checkout machines at a Woolworths store in Auckland are showing the message 'The computer is having problems. It needs to be restarted.' This problem has been seen in Australia and many countries of the world as well.
Microsoft service halted
Microsoft said that they are investigating the problem due to which users are facing trouble in accessing various apps and services. Cyber security company CrowdStrike released an update, after which all computers and laptops running on MS Windows are suddenly crashing. Due to the problem in Microsoft Windows, other services have also been affected. People are facing problems in using Microsoft 360, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Team, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Store and Microsoft cloud-powered services. 74% users are not able to login to Microsoft Store. At the same time, 36% users are facing problems in the app.
The issue is related to cyber security
The US Cyber Security Coordinator said, “I am aware of a large-scale technical outage affecting a number of companies and services in Australia this afternoon. According to our current information, this outage is related to a technical issue with a third-party software platform employed by the affected companies. There is no information that suggests this is a cybersecurity incident. We continue to engage with key stakeholders.
The work of airline companies is also affected in India
The Microsoft Windows glitch has also affected Indian airlines. Akasa Air tweeted, 'Due to infrastructure problems with our service provider, some of our online services, including booking, check-in and booking management services, will be temporarily unavailable. We are currently following manual check-in and boarding processes at airports and hence passengers planning immediate travel are requested to reach the airport early to check-in at our counters. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused and want to assure you that our teams are working to resolve it as soon as possible.
Along with this, SpiceJet said, 'We are currently facing technical challenges with the service provider, affecting online services including booking, check-in and booking functionalities. Manual boarding process continues at the airport. We request passengers planning upcoming travel to reach the airport well in advance to complete check-in at our counters. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by this and assure you that our teams are working to resolve these issues immediately.
