Former BJP MP and film actress Jaya Prada has got a big relief from the court in a five-year-old case. Actually, in 2019, a case was registered against the former MP for violating the code of conduct. Hearing on which, the MP\MLA Magistrate Court has acquitted him. The court acquitted the former MP as the charges against him were not proved.
After the hearing, Jaya Prada while talking to the media said that she is happy with the court's decision and is very emotional. Jaya Prada reached the MP\MLA court for the hearing on Thursday. This decision was announced in front of her. Two cases were registered against her in Kameri police station in the code of conduct case.
Let us tell you that during the Lok Sabha elections of 18 April 2019, Jaya Prada had reached for election campaign in support of the BJP candidate. She is accused that while addressing a public meeting during the election campaign, she gave an inflammatory speech by making indecent remarks against Samajwadi candidate Azam Khan and BSP leader Mayawati. After which Kuldeep Bhatnagar, in-charge of the then video surveillance team, filed a complaint against her. Let us tell you that during the 2019 elections, SP and BSP contested the elections together.
The MP\MLA court had reserved the decision while hearing the case on July 2 and the next date for the decision was fixed as July 11. Advocate Arun Prakash Saxena presented his side before the court on behalf of Jaya Prada. Let us tell you that before the hearing, in the month of April, Jaya Prada appeared before the court and recorded her statement. On the basis of her statement, statements of many witnesses were also recorded. After which the case was heard and Jaya Prada was acquitted.
