According to the news, this decision of the Nitish government will end the arbitrariness of the Mukhiyas and Panchayat secretaries. Regarding this, the Nitish government has approved the Panchayat Construction Work Manual. It will be implemented in the panchayats of all the districts of the state as soon as possible.

Let us tell you that under the new system, the government will now tender even the schemes of less than 15 lakh rupees. This will prevent the misappropriation of funds. Along with this, now the arbitrariness of the Mukhiya-Panchayat secretaries will be curbed in the work of any kind of schemes.

In fact, after the Bihar Cabinet meeting, Additional Chief Secretary S Siddharth informed that the provision made in the rules will put a stop to the arbitrary actions of the Mukhiya and Panchayat secretaries. Now a panel of contractors will be made for small works and tenders will be issued for the same.
