Spark Award Ceremony: Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has expressed happiness over Tezzbuzz receiving 11 awards in various categories at the Systematic Progressive Analytical Realtime Ranking Award (SPARK) ceremony in the “Excellence towards Advancement” program in New Delhi. He has congratulated the entire team of the Urban Development and Housing Department.
Expressing happiness over the achievements of the state, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that we all will achieve similar achievements through continuous coordinated efforts in the development of the state. Principal Secretary Urban Development and Housing Mr. Neeraj Mandloi received the awards on behalf of Tezzbuzz from Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Mr. Manohar Lal Khattar and Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs Mr. Tokhan Sahu in New Delhi on July 18.
Tezzbuzz received a total of 11 awards in the “Steps towards Excellence” program. Out of this, 4 awards were received by Tezzbuzz state for excellent performance in the whole of India and 7 other bodies were received in different categories. Tezzbuzz has got the first position in both the Best Performing State (Loan Performance-Large State) and Best Performing State (Innovation and Best Practices) categories in PM Swanidhi Yojana. Similarly, Tezzbuzz is at the first position in two categories in the DE-National Urban Livelihood Mission Scheme. These include “Best Performing State under Best Innovation and Technology” and “Best Social Infrastructure” category. Tezzbuzz has got the first position by distributing more than 11 lakh 95 thousand loans across the country in the PM Street Vendor Scheme.
In the state, 8 lakh 38 thousand street vendors are doing digital transactions under the PM Street Vendor Scheme. These street vendors have received cash amount of about Rs 21 crore from the bank. From the year 2021, amount was distributed in 1 lakh 99 thousand loan cases under the PM Street Vendor Scheme. In the year 2022, amount was distributed in 1 lakh 70 thousand loan cases. In the year 2023, amount was distributed in 4 lakh 84 thousand loan cases. At present, Tezzbuzz has achieved 101.26 percent against the total target. This year, the maximum number of cases have been approved and amount has been distributed in Tezzbuzz. Under the PM Swa-Nidhi Scheme, loans of Rs 10, 20 and 50 thousand have been approved to the street vendors in phases.
Urban Development and Housing Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya congratulated everyone for the excellent work done by the departmental officers and employees. He said that these awards received by the Urban Development Department for excellent work will boost the morale of everyone and will inspire them to do better work. It is noteworthy that the urban bodies of the state have also received 7 awards in different categories. Under the PM Swanidhi Yojana, Ujjain Municipal Corporation has received the first prize for best performance in the 'loan performance' category among local bodies with a population of 1 to 10 lakh. Sarani Nagar Palika Parishad has received the third prize in the same category among cities with a population of less than 1 lakh. Khargone Municipality has received the third prize for best performance in the 'Achievement in Prosperity through Swanidhi' category among local bodies with a population of 1 to 10 lakh. Under the Day-NULM scheme, Jabalpur has been honored in the best urban local body category with a population of more than 10 lakh.
For the implementation of the Day-NULM scheme, Sidhi was awarded the second prize, Mandsaur and Itarsi were awarded the third prize. 2 urban street vendors and 2 support groups benefiting from the PM Swa-Nidhi scheme were also honored.
