India is going to face Pakistan in the Women's Asia Cup. Defending champion Indian team will face Pakistan on Friday. This tournament is considered important in terms of preparations for the World Cup. The Indian team captained by Harmanpreet has dominated the Asia Cup. India is the champion team of the Asia Cup. India has won the Asia Cup T20 title three times out of four and the Asia Cup 50 overs format all four times.

The tournament will be played in T20 format, with India taking on Pakistan in their first match on Friday, July 19. The tournament will have 15 matches and will feature India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh as well as full member nations including Nepal, Malaysia, Thailand and UAE.
Seven-time champions India have been placed in Group A along with Pakistan, Nepal and UAE. Sri Lanka, the runners-up of the Women's Asia Cup 2022, have been awarded the hosting rights. Nepal will face UAE in the opening match of the competition and the India-Pakistan match is also scheduled for the same day in Dambulla. The top two teams from Group A and Group B will advance to the semi-finals of the tournament, which will be held on July 26, followed by the final on July 28.
