A major rail accident has taken place in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh. 4 people have died so far due to derailment of 8 coaches of Chandigarh-Dibrugarh Express. Now orders have been issued to investigate this accident. Investigation is being done from every angle. The conspiracy aspect is also not being ignored because the loco pilot has said that there was a loud bang. Now this accident is unfortunate, but it is more worrying than that. When the railways are progressing so much, when dreams of bullet trains are being seen, then such accidents raise many serious questions.

At this time, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has come under everyone's target. Although he has taken charge only since 2021, but in three years, five such major railway accidents have happened which have proved all the claims hollow. In these five accidents, more than 300 people have lost their lives, thousands have been injured.

Date- June 2, 2023- Balasore rail accident
The worst rail accident happened in Balasore, Odisha on 2 June last year. Three trains collided in which 290 people lost their lives, more than 900 were also reported injured. Actually, first of all, 12841 Shalimar-Chennai Coromandel Express collided with a goods train near Bahanga railway station, due to which its coaches derailed and fell on the other track. After this, 12864 Bengaluru-Howrah Superfast Express going to Howrah climbed over these coaches and three-four of its coaches also derailed.

Date- October 29, 2023- Andhra Pradesh Rail Accident
In 2023 itself, on 29 October, a major railway accident took place in Andhra Pradesh in which 14 passengers died tragically. Actually, there was a direct collision between the Visakhapatnam Palasa passenger train and the Visakhapatnam-Raigad passenger train. After investigation, it was told that a train had jumped the signal and due to that such a big accident happened.

Date- October 11, 2023- Bihar accident
In the year 2023, on 11 October, a major rail accident took place in Bihar when the coaches of Anand Vihar Kamakhya Express derailed. It is said that 6 coaches were derailed in the accident. Due to that accident, 4 people died and more than 70 were reported injured.

Date- August 25, 2023- Madurai Junction accident
In the year 2023, a terrible railway accident also took place at Madurai Junction in Tamil Nadu. There was no collision of any train, the coaches were also not derailed, but there was a fierce fire which took the lives of 9 passengers. It was told that the Lucknow-Rameshwaram Bharat Gaurav train was stopped at Madurai Junction. It was found that a passenger was smuggling a gas cylinder and he also tried to cook something through it. Then there was an explosion and a fire broke out.

Date- January 13, 2022- Bengal incident
On January 13, 2022, 12 coaches of the Bikaner-Guwahati Express train derailed. The accident took place at Alipurduar in West Hangal, which claimed the lives of 9 people. 36 passengers were reported injured in that accident.
