Muzaffarnagar. Once again, on the occasion of Lord Shri Khatu Shyam Janmotsav, the procession and Nishan Yatra will be taken out in a grand and huge form in the city. On this auspicious occasion, like previous years, this year too, the procession of Lord Shri Khatushyam ji will start from Ganpati Dham Temple on 20th November, Monday at 10 am, via the traditional route New Mandi Sthal (Good Mandi) and proceed from Rajbaha Road to New Mandi Bade. Coming out from in front of the post office, going through Gaushala Road, passing through Old Gur Mandi, Peeth Bazaar, Bindal Bazaar, Mehta Club via Vakil Road, from Chaudi Gali, via Gaushala Road, via Bhopa Bridge, from the main places of the city, to Gandhi Colony, New Mandi Vakil Road. Coming straight from the bridge, it will take the left road below the bridge and end at the temple.
Famous religious lover Bhim Sain Kansal told that in the procession, Delhi’s famous band Heera Sindhi will welcome Baba’s chariot and other 4 bands, drums, 10 tableaux and Baba Shyam’s chariot will be pulled by hands. The famous tableaux of the people of Mathura will also be an attraction of this journey. On this occasion, the yatra route is being decorated with flags and pylons. Every day during the festival, Baba’s court will be decorated with flowers brought from Calcutta.
Mehndi Utsav will be held in the temple courtyard on Tuesday, 21st November at 7 pm. Also, a token distribution program will be organized in the temple premises on Wednesday, 22nd November. Along with this, on 23rd November at 9 am, the grand Ekadashi Nishan Yatra will start from Shiv Chowk, pass through Jhansi Rani Town Hall Road, Bhopa Bridge, Gaushala Road and end at the temple.
On the same day, on Ekadashi Shyam Kirtan night from 8 pm to Mangala Aarti, famous artist Ramkumar Lakha (T series fame singer) and other artists of the temple will sing the praises of Baba. Swar Lahari will be performed by Rhythm Musical Group.
