A spokesperson of the state government said that under this campaign, various programs and activities will be organized every day till November 25 under the leadership of Power Angel and Bal Sansad in all the primary, upper primary and Kasturba Gandhi schools of the state. The main theme of the event is “Gender Equality: Equal opportunities, care and support for all students: Champions for every child in families, homes, schools, sports, careers, health care and child protection facilities, community and public life.” Be based on.
The spokesperson said that the major activities organized under the campaign on Saturday included discussion on the theme by teachers, students, guest speakers-officials, experts at school level and laws, schemes and benefits for children made by the State Government and Government of India. Went. On November 20, learn with entertainment, quiz, story, poem, slogan, debate, science project, handicraft, song, dance, drama etc. will be organized on the topic of child rights.
Similarly, on November 21, there will be activities like right to play, organizing sports day, indoor and outdoor games, checking the health, nutrition and hygiene of children. On November 22, there will be programs related to street plays, student police cadets, scouts and guides in school and community under the leadership of Meena Manch, Power Angels. On 23rd November, along with painting made by children, exhibition of crafts, children’s fair, child rights festival cultural program, activities like child helpline, career portal, mental health counseling and cyber security mock drill were conducted for parents and community. According to the government spokesperson, a film festival for children will be organized on November 24. A good inspirational film will be shown every day.
