Two US-led coalition officials said American troops stationed at al-Harir air base and al-Assad base were attacked on Friday.
Coalition forces withdrew from the airbase on 20 October
According to the Kurdistan Regional Counter-Terrorism Organization, no casualties were reported in the attack as coalition forces had already withdrawn from the airbase on 20 October.
