New Delhi: Once diabetes occurs, there is no complete cure. Only control of the disease is possible. More or less everyone takes medicine to control diabetes, but does medicine reduce the risk of diabetes? Ayurveda expert Professor Binaji Rao of JSS College, Mysore, said, “Diabetes risk can be reduced by cleansing.” Under special prescription, Ayurvedic medicines such as oil, ghee or both are given to the patient with warm water for three or five days. As a result, all those defects are removed from the body, which increases the risk of diabetes.
“To reduce the risk of diabetes, it is necessary to cleanse the body at least once a year,” said Dr. Binaji. Along with this treatment, medicines like Emery Plus and BGR-34 are also beneficial for diabetic patients, said Professor Binaji Rao.
Diabetes patients are increasing every year
The number of diabetes patients in India is increasing every year. Indian Council of Medical Research recently conducted a study. Where it is seen, 11 percent of the total population of the country may be affected by diabetes. The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that by 2030, 10-12 percent of India’s population may suffer from diabetes.
Ayurveda has treatment
Experts say that the risk of diabetes can be reduced by adopting Ayurveda. Ayurveda expert Dr. Parameshwar Arora said that there are three types of diabetes in people. One of which is present at birth. The second is caused by genetics, but the most common type of diabetes is type-2.
Diabetes type-2 is caused by poor lifestyle and wrong diet. But diabetes can be easily controlled through Ayurveda. Besides, the risk of diabetes can also be reduced in the early stage.
