Lucknow. Intermediate practical examinations under the Board Examination-2024 of the Council of Secondary Education will start from January 25. The dates of practical examination were announced by the UP Board on Friday. The Intermediate practical examination will be conducted by the board in two phases. The first phase examination will be held from January 25 to February 1.
In this, experimental examinations will be conducted in Agra, Saharanpur, Bareilly, Lucknow, Jhansi, Chitrakoot, Faizabad, Azamgarh, Devipatan and Basti divisions. In the second phase, experimental examinations will be conducted in Aligarh, Meerut, Moradabad, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Varanasi and Gorakhpur between February 2 and 9. To maintain the sanctity of the examinations, monitoring will be done through CCTV cameras.
After the examinations, its recording will have to be kept safe in the DVR by the Principal and it will have to be made available to the concerned regional office of the Council on demand. Like previous years, high school practical examinations will be based on internal assessment at the school level. Individual high school candidates will be able to appear in the practical examination by contacting the principal of their forwarding centre.
The marks of high school practical examination, moral sports and physical education and intermediate sports and physical education will be uploaded online on the council’s website through the principal of the schools. The website for this will become functional from January 10.
Pre-board practical examinations of class 12th in UP Board schools will start from January 5, which will be conducted by the school principals till January 12. Along with this, the annual examinations of classes 9 and 11 and pre-board written examinations of classes 10 and 12 to be conducted at the school level will be conducted in schools between January 13 and January 22.
