Some unions are protesting against the management regarding shift change during the peak period of production. Only four and a half months are left to achieve the production target, hence the opposition of the unions is not acceptable to anyone. Representative unions like BMS, Aibu, CITU, HMS say that the management had called a meeting to work for 8 hours in the factory. Their demand is that the management will not accept any change in the shift timing until the payment of T3, incentive, salary allowances including arrears of employees and night allowance is resumed.

Even after this, if the management changes the shift timing, then the full responsibility of the dissatisfaction in the factory will be on the BHEL management. In this regard, we have also registered our protest through a letter to BHEL management. Now the unions are busy preparing the upcoming strategy. Here Aibu Union is demanding blue colored jacket from the management. Accepting this demand, the management decided to distribute the jackets on 25th November.
