It is being told that these coins are from the Kushan period. Such coins have been found in Mohenjodaro before also. In 1931, a team excavated here and unearthed 4,348 copper coins. Mohenjodaro is considered to be a city more than 5 thousand years old. Which is one of the world heritage sites. It is said about Mohenjodaro that many secrets and huge treasures are hidden under this place.
Mohenjodaro, considered the world’s oldest urban system, was discovered 101 years ago. This city was discovered in 1922 by RD Banerjee, an officer of the Archaeological Survey of India. This city was situated on the banks of Indus River in Sindh province of Pakistan. The remains of this city that were discovered during the excavation took the world by surprise. The reason for this is that the planned way in which Mohenjodaro was a city is not easy even in today’s time. 5 thousand years ago there were permanent houses, big bathrooms and toilets in this city. It was one of the most developed civilizations of that time.
It is believed that 35,000 people used to live in this city of Indus Valley Civilization. These people had knowledge of mathematics and also knew how to use bricks to build houses. Archaeologists have found such evidence, which shows that the people of Indus Valley Civilization were also fond of sports and playing songs. His knowledge in medicine was also excellent. He even knew how to wear false teeth. They had expertise in painting, coin minting and many metal utensils. On the basis of which it can be said that the Indus Valley Civilization was highly developed.
Looking at the remains of the Indus Valley, it is clear that the people living here were quite prosperous and must have had a lot of wealth. Finding of coins during excavation also points in this direction. Only a small part of it has been excavated, in which once again copper coins have been found. This civilization had both prosperity and knowledge. In such a situation, it is said that a big treasure is buried in this city.
Many things are said about the reasons for the destruction of the Indus Valley Civilization. Many facts are kept in it. Some experts attribute the destruction of the Indus to natural disasters and major changes in climate. It is also said that this civilization was destroyed due to the floods in the Indus River. Some scientists also consider a big explosion to be the reason for its destruction on the basis of the hellfires that emerged from here. At the same time, the spread of any epidemic is also considered to be the reason for the destruction of this civilization.
Many researches have been done on Mohenjodaro civilization and a film has also been made in Bollywood. Ritir Roshan was seen in the lead role in this film. It was also shown in the film how the people of that civilization were very organized from farming to living.
