The scariest place in India is in Alwar district of Rajasthan. It is known as Bhangarh Fort. It falls between Alwar and Jaipur. The city was founded by Raja Bhagwant Das in 1573. When the Mughal Sultanate became weak after the death of Aurangzeb, Raja Jai Singh II forcibly annexed it to his kingdom. After a famine in the year 1783, the population here had reduced significantly. Here the village houses do not have roofs and people believe that the roof falls as soon as it is built. You will be surprised to know that entry into this fort is legally prohibited at the time of sunrise and sunset. The Archaeological Survey of India has also put up a sign board here which states that legal action will be taken against those who forcibly enter the fort.
Long Dehar Mines
Lambi Dehar mines are located outside Mussoorie. The area is more famous for its limestone mines. It was closed due to several random truck accidents. Many people say that when schools remain closed for 3 months from December to March, the sound of footsteps is heard.
