Hamirpur. To curb the increasing road accidents due to drinking alcohol, students of a private school in Hamirpur have prepared an alcohol detect model. These students of Bhoranj sub-division displayed their model in the Children’s Science Conference. The students who made this model explained how traffic accidents can be controlled. He told that to prevent accidents, he has prepared a sensor alcohol detect model. Their model can prevent traffic accidents to some extent. The students said that the cost of making this model was very low. This model has been prepared for only Rs 1800.

Nishant, the student who developed the alcohol detect model, told that one of his relatives had died in a road accident due to drinking alcohol. Due to which he started making this model. It took him only 3 months to make this model. The specialty of this model is that when this sensor is installed in the vehicle, the vehicle will automatically stop when it smells of alcohol. As long as the smell of alcohol does not come from the vehicle, the vehicle will start again. With the use of this sensor, drink and drive traffic accidents can be reduced to some extent.

Student Ankita Patial said that a lot of accidents are happening these days. Accidents often occur due to drunk driving. For this reason such a model has been created. Whose sensors will soon detect that the driver has consumed alcohol and the vehicle will stop.

Student Harsh Gautam told that this model has been made to prevent accidents. The IR sensor detects our eyes and the NQ sensor detects alcohol. Due to which the vehicle will stop automatically once the sensor works. He said that the model has been prepared keeping in mind road safety. Because nowadays many road accidents are happening due to consumption of alcohol. By using this sensor such incidents can be prevented.
